Our family has skin sensitivity issues so this was an interesting way to test if the product worked for us and try different smells. We shall be ordering more
This refill bar was soft enough to get in the jar and use. Some scents are harder to both refill and apply.
I liked the selection of scents and the sensitive ones, however one I tried was
lumpy? It left a gritty residue which didn’t improve
Just back from 2 weeks in Spain and 38 degrees heat. The deodorant worked brilliantly and there were no white marks like my last brand. Love that it’s posted through my door, just as I am about to run out too, so no last minute dash to the shops to buy. It’s a great deodorant.
Bought the jar and a refill of pear and freesia and it is brilliant. Love the scent of these 2 together. This brand of deodorant works extremely well and have had no issues with it, even in this hot weather,

I’ve tried many of the natural deodorants on the market and all of them made my underarms sore and itchy and some smelled very strange or too strong.
I took a risk with Simply Effective because of their sample pack and found that the sensitive formula worked really well and didn’t irritate my skin at all. Although it isn’t an antiperspirant I found that I stayed drier than normal and there was no sweaty odour at the end of the day. Even after being physically active in the hot sun.
All of the scents were nice and after using them up I ordered a couple of refill bars in my favourite scents and the cute pots to put them in.
The refill bars are great. I love that I could put most of the bar into the pot and save a square to go in the sample tin to take to the gym with me.
The pots are fantastic quality, heavy glass and a lovely wooden lid.
I’ve seen comments from people not liking that it is applied by hand but personally I love it. It feels quite soothing and the base is moisturising without being greasy.
I did find I needed to leave it a little while to absorb before putting on a dark bra or top but the slight white marks I got when I was rushing a bit washed out easily with no lasting staining.
All in all I am very impressed and have taken out a subscription.
Lovely tiny sample tins perfect to try the fragrances and for travel and your bag. Deodorant is the best I’ve tried and doesn’t leave heavy smells or marks on your clothing. Just ordered the larger pot in forest, coco and sport.
I've so far tried 4 of the different fragrances and they all seem to work well, although somewhat fiddly to use. Some seem a bit "gritty" and not very smooth to apply, is there a better way please?
Lovely scent. Lasts all day and does what I want a deodorant to do, stay smelling good.
My refill bar arrived in hot weather, so was quite soft when I opened the parcel co Taino g my new jar & the refill. It was relatively easy to fill the jar, if a little messy. Guessing it will be neater if my next refill arrives in cooler weather.
I LOVE the deodorant! The fragrance is beautiful and the deodorant works brilliantly.
I have only tried one of the little sample pots, but find it really difficult to warm a scoop between fingers, then apply to under arms. I don’t think this particular product is for me.
What a great idea these refill bars are. I tried the discovery kit first and loved two of the scents in particular. I bought 2 jars and refill bars of the two that I liked. Very pleased with my purchase.

Such yummy scents. And best of all, no marks on my black clothes!! I have tried so many natural brands and given up because of the white marks.
Swapped to Simply effective from another natural deodorant company after having problems with staining on clothing, so far so good with Simply Effective, the smells are amazing even my partner has swapped to using the deodorant, as a manual worker he is loving the smell & keeping fresh all day long! So he has his own pot now instead of pinching mine! Can highly recommend Simply Effective Deodorant !
I bought this kit for a family member and myself. I love that I can sample so many different scents. Even my grandson has been using the citrus one and my granddaughter has also been using it.
Unfortunately for me, I had an allergic reaction to this product. I tried both the sensitive and the regular formula and it’s not for me.
However if I didn’t get a reaction, I would be highly recommending it as it did work really well all day in 30°c heat and kept me feeling fresh.
Idea is brilliant, they just seem a bit gritty and hard compared to the little pots. Not smooth nor pleasant to use.
Ive order the discovery kit to try different smells and see how the product looks like and how it works. I have tried many different more natural and no nasties antiperspirants but im still looking for the one that works best for me. This one, some smellls very nice, some a bit less, as i do not use bad products for long time i went through the antiperspirant detox long time ago so when stated to use it was sure it will be good but unfortunatelly after half a day it wasnt working anymore, in hotter day i could smell my sweat which wasnt nice. The best so far i used its just leave white stains on clothes is fusy, this one i wil use it in the morning and at the evenig still works very well. 3 stars cause its nicelly packed, good to apply, nice smells.
Most importantly, they work brilliantly without being overpowering.
Got the 10 sample pack and have chosen two scents. Not keen on a deoderant that overpowers my perfume (if any) and there is a fair amount of choice plus an unscented option.
